A tenant is being treated for burns after firefighters battled a house fire in the Porirua suburb of Titahi Bay.
Crews from four fire engines fought the flames on Te Pene Ave, which started around 9pm yesterday. The fire was extinguished last night.
The standalone Housing Corporation flat was extensively damaged in the blaze
The fire was not being treated as suspicious.
